Receives general direction from the Security Services Manager or Supervisor Fulfills all the duties and responsibilities required by the Security team related to customer service and maintaining a secure and orderly environment. Performs a variety of technical security duties to protect patients, visitors, caregivers, physicians, property and facilities from unsafe conditions, physical harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry or other criminal activity.

Required Qualifications
- Coursework/Training - Healthcare Security Officer internal training program including MOAB or CPI (management of aggressive behavior or crisis prevention course or equivalent), use of defensive tactics including OC/Pepper Gel, CS gel, handcuffing or other tools as approved by department manager as well as use of medical restraints. To be completed within one year from date of hire.
- Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
- Associate's Degree.
- 3 years - Law Enforcement/Security/Military or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
