**Description** **RN Manager, Oncology and IV Therapy at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon** Providence St. Vincent Medical Center—an esteemed Magnet‑designated hospital currently pursuing its 7th Magnet designation—is seeking a dedicated RN Manager to lead our Oncology and IV Therapy teams. This is a full‑time, day‑shift, exempt leadership position offering flexible day‑shift hours, Monday through Friday, an annual incentive program, and a highly competitive paid leadership time off structure. $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. **About the Departments** **5W Oncology** is a 17‑bed inpatient medical‑surgical unit with 61 staff members who provide specialized nursing care to acutely ill adult patients with primary or secondary oncology diagnoses. The unit supports the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of cancers, caring for patients with both acute and chronic medical needs. **IV Therapy Team** consist of 16 staff nurses that are specially trained registered nurses who provide expert vascular access care. Responsibilities include placement and management of peripheral and central lines such as PICCs, midlines, and venous access ports, supporting timely treatment and positive patient outcomes. **Role Overview** The RN Manager will lead and support daily operations, clinical excellence, staffing, team engagement, and the ongoing development of the Oncology and IV Therapy team. This leader plays a key role in mentoring a new team, cultivating a positive unit culture, and driving initiatives that elevate performance and patient care. **General Job Description Information** The Nurse Manager of Clinical Operations embraces a spirit of continual improvement and possesses a relentless drive towards excellence. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License 5 years of nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles. **Preferred Qualifications:** ONS/ONCC certificate or OCN certification as preferred 2 or more years of RN work experience with an acute care medical surgical, oncology, or IV Therapy patient population 1 year or greater work experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager, RN Supervisor, Nurse Manager or higher level leadership role Master's Degree in Related field.
