**Description** The Orthopedic Technician is responsible for providing assistance to patients, providers and other members of the healthcare team. The duties involve specialized patient care tasks including casting, splinting, dressing changes, measurement and fitting of orthopedic braces and other devices and ambulatory aids and patient education. Additionally the technician will be required to complete routine patient care tasks so other caregivers can attend to other clinical and administrative functions. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Providence Health & Services mission, philosophy and core values.
