Description

Providence Health Plan is calling a Medicare Operations Compliance Program Manager who will:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards specific to Medicare Advantage are met plan-wide

  • Ensure that Medicare Advantage regulatory requirements and standards are understood by the operational/business areas

  • Implement business processes and controls to ensure compliance

  • Research business area compliance issues and recommend changes that assure compliance with CMS contractual requirements

  • Maintain a positive relationship with business owners

  • Influence decisions

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the States of Oregon and Washington.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and 5 years of work experience

  • 4 years demonstrated successful and progressive positions

  • 3 years management (or relevant) experience

  • Management experience in managed care environment specific to a health plan

  • 4 years demonstrated successful experience working with administrative, policy and/or operational aspects of the Medicare program, preferably in a managed care environment

  • 2 years experience with Medicare Advantage health plan regulatory compliance matters

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 5 years' work experience

  • 4 years management (or relevant) experience

  • 5 years demonstrated successful experience working with administrative, policy and/or operational aspects of the Medicare program, preferably in a managed care environment
