Emergency Technician Per Diem Variable

Emergency Technician at Providence Hood River Medical Hospital is a per diem time position working during weekdays and weekends on a variable shift.

Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required Qualifications:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

• Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually upon hire.

• 1 year of relevant experience. Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate upon hire.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
