Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

**Description** The Specialist-Diagnostic Imaging Support assists and directs patients while retrieving, organizing and inputting digital images and/or exam information into our Electronic Medical Records System (EMS). The Diagnostic Imaging Support Specialist is responsible for all applicable software, and interacts with many departments, office staff, physicians and patients. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them. **Required Qualifications:** Coursework/Training: Basic medical terminology course, or completed within 6 months of hire. 1 year Clerical or Customer Service experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** Associate's Degree in the medical field 1 year medical and/or clerical experience, or A successful completion of a Providence Internship. Coursework/Training: College courses in intermediate medical terminology and physical anatomy knowledge obtained through work experience. Diagnostic Imaging experience. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
