The CIS acts as a liaison between clinical care and information technology, supporting all care givers throughout the care continuum in the implementation, learning, use, adoption and optimization of clinical technologies.** **Providence offers hybrid work opportunities for candidates residing within a daily commuting radius—up to 65 miles—from any of our primary office locations listed below.** Washington: Richland Washington: Kennewick Washington: Walla Walla Washington: Pasco **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor's Degree Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience 2 or more years of experience in a position that has the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting Experience with the Epic EHR platform Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning **Preferred Qualifications:** Upon hire: Informatics certifications or credentialing Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to interpret clinical data, generate reports, and identify trends Healthcare Terminology: Understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical documentation Interdisciplinary Communication: Ability to work with clinicians, IT teams, administrators, and vendors Critical Thinking: Evaluating system performance and identifying areas for improvement Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues with clinical systems Adaptability: Comfort with fast-paced, evolving healthcare environments Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data and system configurations Empathy & User-Centered Design: Understanding the needs of clinicians and patients when designing solutions **Why Join Providence?** Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
