Billing and Collections Representative

**Description** Under the direction of the PFS manager (defined below by region), the Government Billing & Collection Representative is responsible for claims billing and collections. This individual addresses claims edits, files all claims on both UB-04 and 837 file formats, and completes follow-up on outstanding accounts. In addition, this individual identifies functional issues and reports them to the PFS manager. Government Billing & Collections Representative (Southern California): This individual reports to the Southern California Co-Op Government and Cash Posting Manager and is responsible for billing and collections activities related to Medi-Cal for the Southern California region. Government Billing & Collections Representative (Southwest): This individual reports to the Regional PFS Manager and is responsible for government billing and collections. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
