What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Operating Room Assistant position at Providence?
**Description**
Assists with general support of the professional staff in the operating suites. Activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment that facilitates patient focused care. OR Assistants handle equipment and supplies, clean and decontaminate Operating Rooms and equipment, and operate and perform routine maintenance on a variety of technical equipment, and restock supplies. A solid attendence record, positive attitude and flexibility are required.

**Position is Full Time, 1 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 hours per week. Located onsite at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska!**

**Required Qualifications:**
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Certified Nursing Assistant upon hire.
1 year of Hospital experience.
