**Description** **Associate Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.** **Part-Time/EveningShift** The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT/MLS personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them. **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 6 months (180 days) of hire, or National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire, or National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts within 6 months (180 days) of hire, or National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 6 months (180 days) of hire, or National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 6 months (180 days) of hire, or National Laboratory Tech - United States Government within 6 months (180 days) of hire **Preferred Qualifications:** Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS accredited MLS program. 1 year experience **Why Join Providence?** Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
