What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant/Technician position at Providence Veterinary Care?
Providence Veterinary Care is a mixed animal practice with 4 locations in Arkansas: Sheridan, Malvern, Little Rock, & Arkadelphia. This listing is for our Sheridan location, but there may be the opportunity to work at more than one of our clinics. An ideal candidate will be willing to learn and accept constructive criticism, work well with others, value professionalism, and be able to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers on the phone and in-person.
The job duties for this position include but are not limited to: assisting the veterinarian, safely restraining animals when necessary, assisting with preparation of surgery instruments, caring for and cleaning up after hospitalized pets, and working as a team to provide the best care for our clients and their pets. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred but not required. Pay is negotiable and will be based on experience level in the veterinary field. Basic computer skills are necessary.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
