Description
The Patient Admissions Coordinator collects, documents and communicates information relative to patients requiring admission to Swedish Medical Center in accordance with established department policies, procedures and workflows.
This position will work in partnership with the Administrative Nursing Admission Coordinator (ANAC) and in collaboration with multiple departments, physicians, nursing staff, and other key stakeholders on a regular basis. In addition, this job may include other duties as directed.

Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree Healthcare related program -or- -
- Two years of equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting may be accepted in lieu of the degree requirement or equivalent educ/experience
- 2 years of job related experience (including, but not limited to ED, critical care, call center, front office) in a healthcare setting.
- Applicants without an Associate’s degree must have four (4) years of job related experience
