PLC Technician (NLB) – Second Shift
Location: North Liberty, Indiana
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Saturdays as needed)
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on PLC Technician to join our team in North Liberty, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated control systems that support our manufacturing operations. This position requires a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
- Configure and maintain computer systems used for PLC programming and monitoring.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist with process improvements.
- Ensure all systems are operating efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, modifications, and repairs.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, PC/software configurations, and how PLC software integrates with computer operating systems.
- Selected candidates will be required to pass written and hands-on technical assessments.
Work Schedule
- Second Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturdays: As needed
Preferred Skills
- 2 years of experience working with PLC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and combustion control systems a plus.
- Willingness to assist with maintenance tasks and production support.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
