Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Emergency Room (ER)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (18 : 30 - 06 : 00)
Guaranteed Hours : Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
Experience : Minimum of 2 years required, first-timers accepted
License : Pending license not accepted
Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS
Must-Have : Ability to float between like units
Job Description :
- Locals are accepted with specific conditions.
- Patient ratios are set at 1 : 4.
- Weekend work is required every other weekend.
- Open to accommodating block schedule based on manager's discretion.
- References : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty / setting.
- Travelers must be willing to float between all facilities within a given state.
- Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Orientation is 40 hours, with modules completed pre-start and annually.
- Time spent on modules is self-reported, and completion is recorded in transcripts.
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
