Registered Nurse- All Shifts

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Rest.

• A Registered Nurse who, under the direction of nursing leadership, is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care for a specific unit during their shift.

Responsibilities:

• Receives report from previous shift, ensuring all pertinent information has been received on each resident.
• Continuously evaluates behavior, symptoms, reactions, and progress of residents, discussing findings with the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Administers and documents all medications according to established policies and procedures, physician orders, and Department of Health regulations.
• Performs all treatments according to physician-specific orders and established policies and procedures.
• Discusses the need to discontinue or change a medication or treatment with the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Orders prescribed medications, notifies pharmacy of discontinued medications, and ensures accuracy of medications and dosages when received from pharmacy.

Qualifications:

• Current NY State Registered Nurse License
• Associate Degree; BSN Preferred

Salary : $60,000 - $120,000
