PVD Prep seeks passionate and highly skilled Teaching Partners who are willing and able to move mountains for the PVD Prep raptors. Your specific duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Providing short- or long-term substitute coverage for classroom teachers who may be out of the school building for various periods of time - Serve as a lead teacher, as necessary, for multiple sections / classes each day (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Music, Visual Arts, - Theater, Physical Education or other content area depending on assignment) using a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum - Demonstrating exceptionally strong instructional and classroom management skills - Developing strong, productive relationships with students, parents and families - Participating in professional development opportunities and attending all staff, team, and community meetings - Creating a positive, achievement-oriented classroom culture that allows all students to achieve high academic standards
