Job Description

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Job Specialty : RRT-NICU

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum 1 year

License : Current RRT NICU license

Certifications : NICU or ICU experience

Must-Have : EPIC charting experience

Job Description :

• Will float between units as needed.
• No on-call required.
• Required to work every other weekend.
• Block schedules required.
• Expected patient ratios : 1 : 15.
• Facility type : Short Term Acute Care.
• Total staffed beds : 418.
• Scrub color : Any color; provided for specific areas.
• Completion of 40 hours orientation required.
• Modules are pre-start and completed annually; average 16 hours, completion recorded.
• Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities; refusal may result in contract termination.
• Communication devices necessary for duties will be supplied, or reimbursement will be arranged.
• Requires 3 of 5 major holidays commitment (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• References : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years required.
• Return staff policy : 3 months between permanent and travel positions.
