What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Associate - (FT) - Starting at $20/hour position at Providence Place Senior Living?
Providence Place of Pine Grove is seeking to recruit a Full-Time Maintenance Associate / Painter who works closely with the Maintenance Director to keep our building in good working order. A typical day involves helping with preventative maintenance and handling work orders. The Maintenance Associate will also be responsible for painting apartments in preparation for new residents moving into the community. The Maintenance Associate must be able to work independently, flip apartments timely without sacrificing quality, and take great pride in his/her work. They will also assist with safe transportation of residents to and from appointments, as well as planning drop off and pick up times to ensure timely service to our residents.
Starting Hourly Rate: $20/hour
Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, EOW

- Ability to self-supervise and self-motivate to set own priorities and follow through on the same.
- Good painting skills: Prepping/cleaning, spraying and rolling
- Follows good safety practices
Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license: Must have a clean driving record with no major traffic violations over the past 5 years
- 2 years residential/commercial painting experience preferred.
- Basic working knowledge about Plumbing, HVAC, Electricity and mechanics.
