What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Med Techs/Caregiver FT (DAYS) Starting at $17/hour position at Providence Place Senior Living?
Providence Place of Lancaster is seeking a detailed oriented, compassionate Night Shift Medication Technician / Med Tech. The Med Tech administers prescribed medications and treatments. In addition, the Med tech is also considered a Caregiver / Resident Life Assistant. Our Med Techs help to ensure quality of care by also stepping on the floor as a Resident Life Assistant. These tasks include bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, & ensure a good dining experience for our residents. We are an assisted living community & our residents range in care from Independent Living (needing little or no assistance) to Assisted Living (needing some help with dressing, bathing or mobility). We also provide care to those with memory impairments on our to specially designed dementia neighborhoods.
Starting at: $17.00 / hr
**You will receive an increase after successfully completing the training and 60-day evaluation process
Shifts Available - 12 Hour Shifts! ONLY work 14 Days per Month
- 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM *
- Work 3 Days one week / 4 Days the next week = 3 day weekends!!
- * Must be able to work Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday!

Critical Success Factors:
- Successful completion of the Medication Assistance Course and related medications training within two months of hire.
- Compassionate and empathetic in personal interactions
- Basic computer skills, including use of e-mail.
- Highly organized.
- Motivated and able to work well on a team
- Adaptable and flexible.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current Medication Certification required
