What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waitstaff / Server position at Providence Oyster Bar?
The Providence Oyster Bar located on Federal Hill is looking for new team members!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure customer orders are taken, prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Be knowledgeable food and beverage offerings.
- Be aware of special requests and food allergies. Ensure necessary information is communicated to the Kitchen team.
- Keep the server stations and restaurant common areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be Tips and/or ServSafe Alcohol certified.
- Uphold the company's policies and procedures including guidelines relating to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Please note, to serve alcohol in the state of Rhode Island, the server/bartender must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- All other assigned duties.
