Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Telemetry Float RN

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in a comparable specialty / setting

License : California license must be in hand; temporary licenses not accepted

Certifications : ACLS, BCLS

Must-Have : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years

Job Description :

• Telemetry Float Registered Nurses will provide patient care across various units, including floating between similar units as needed.
• Open to first-time travelers.
• Must be able to commit to working a minimum of every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding this requirement.
• Must be prepared to work 3 of the following 5 holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to affiliated hospitals nearby as required.
• Orientation consists of 40 non-billable hours.
• Completion of required modules, which are non-billable, is expected pre-start and annually.
• Travelers' refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
• If required, communication devices will be provided; otherwise, reimbursement for work-related mobile phone use up to a specified amount will be facilitated.
• Scrub color for RNs is Royal Blue; provided for OR nurses.
• Familiarity with Epic charting is preferred.
