We are currently in search of a Clinical Site Supervisor for our Springboro location. This candidate is a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (This is a working supervisory position). Family Health Center, like all Providence primary care practices, is a recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home, and focuses on building lasting patient relationships based on trust and continuity of care.
What will you do:
- Supervises site day-to-day operations
- Ensures that the office is adequately staffed, approves time off requests and prepares staff schedule
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of CPT codes and ICD-10 codes
- Responsible for sites accounts receivable and manages total days in AR
- Performs employee evaluations and makes recommendations
- Maintains knowledge of and complies with established Providence Medical Group policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and legal requirements (TDDD, CLIA, Vaccines,etc)
- Ensures that office space, supplies, and equipment are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations
- Maintains confidentiality regarding patient’s accounts and medical records status
- Attends monthly site supervisor meetings
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in medical office, Primary Care preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to comprehend established office routines and policies
- Learns quickly from oral and written instructions.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10coding.
- Understand HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability)
- Good organization skills
