Responsibilities
- If you have recently earned your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Licens e and have no prior experience, we encourage you to apply . Entry-Level CNA s are welcome to apply!
- A ssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting
- H elp with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown , you may also feed patients who need assistance and monitor intake/output
- T ake and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), observe and report changes in a patient’s condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RN
- S tock and maintain supplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safe
- A ssist in transporting patients within the hospital
- Must be able to type
- Must be familiar with and willing to learn medical terminology
- Prefer prior experience in a medical setting
- Must protect patient confidentiality
- Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant credential
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required upon hire and maintained current
