Job Summary
The Wellness Center Attendant supports daily operations of the Wellness Center by providing excellent customer service, assisting members with wellness activities, maintaining a clean and safe facility, and supporting fitness classes. This role helps ensure a positive and professional environment for all members and visitors.
Essential Functions

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting members, giving tours, completing transactions, and assisting with fitness assessments and exercise programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility, including equipment cleaning, supply monitoring, and completing opening/closing procedures.
• Support daily Wellness Center operations such as supervising the free-weight room, updating bulletin boards, and helping with wellness challenges.
• Communicate professionally with members and staff; participate in required meetings and trainings.
• Follow all PMC policies, HIPAA guidelines, and safety procedures while upholding the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Competencies

• Possess an active BLS Certification. May be acquired at PMC within 6 months after hire.
• Demonstrate computer skills to operate electronic membership platform and basic Microsoft Office Programs.

Qualifications

• Education
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree or working towards a degree in an exercise-related field preferred.
