Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Responding to guest maintenance requests promptly and resolving them to the guest's satisfaction
- Performing repairs and maintenance across the hotel
- Executing and documenting preventative maintenance programs to keep the property in peak condition
- Keeping all equipment, work areas, and departmental logs clean and organized
- Patrolling the building and parking areas to identify and proactively address safety, security, or maintenance concerns
- Reporting suspicious activity or unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer immediately
- Staying cross-trained on fellow Engineers' responsibilities so the team is always covered
Skills & Attributes:
- A self-starter with a steady, even-tempered approach - you don't rattle easily
- Clear communicator, both in conversation with guests and in written maintenance logs
- Takes pride in their appearance and represents the property professionally
- Reliable, punctual, and committed - attendance matters here
- Valid driver's license required (you'll occasionally operate a hotel vehicle)
- Comfortable with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying throughout your shift
- Able to bend, kneel, climb stairs and ladders as needed
- Full mobility to respond quickly anywhere on property, including during emergencies
- Must be able to drive a company truck to pick up equipment and supplies
