What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server - Assisted Living position at Providence Living at Pembroke Pines?
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Places food servings on plates or trays according to orders or instructions. Examines food trays to ensure that they contain required items. Loads trays with accessories such as eating utensils, napkins, or condiments.*
2. Removes trays and stacks dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished.*
3. Monitors food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that guidelines, such as those for special diets, are followed.*
4. Determines where patients or patrons would like to eat their meals and helps them get situated.*
5. Maintains and sanitizes all serving staff areas and beverage areas daily.*
6. Prepares food items, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, or beverages if needed.*
7. Takes food orders and relays orders to kitchens or serving counters so they can be filled.*
8. Stocks service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws.*
9. Performs side work duties as assigned daily to your workstation.*
10. Cleans or sterilizes dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, or flatware, when needed.*
11. All occurrences in the dining area, should be absorbed as a responsibility by the server pertaining to our guest.*
12. Workstations must be checked by manager before exiting shift.*
13. Adheres to HACCP regulations when applicable.*
14. There should be no loitering in other areas of our facility, dining and kitchen areas are server’s primary area.*
15. Ensures wait staff station is orderly and clean with ongoing shift.*
16. Ensures ultimate guest satisfaction.*
17. Projects a positive, friendly and helpful demeanor when serving our guests.*
18. Follows Providence living steps of service in dining areas , as applicable, according to steps of service sheet.*
19. Carries food, silverware, or linen on trays or use carts to carry trays.*
20. Completes all online ALF training classes required.*
21. Comes to workstation daily with proper dress code at designated time.*
22. Assists in kitchen area, specifically in a culinary aspect, to assist when needed.
23. Assists on a daily basis in cleaning and sanitizing any areas that need this attention.
24. Constantly be aware of stocking all wait station areas , beverages, and refrigerators with beverages being stocked as needed.
25. Cognizant of all Providence Living Maitland guests and their needs, and communicates immediate needs of emergency to management, when referring to our guests or team members.
