Victorian Village, a Skilled Nursing and Assisted/Independent Living Community, located in Homer Glen, IL is seeking Resident Aide (RA) for Part Time for Evening Shift! Victorian Village is a member of the Providence Life Services family where we are committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve!
Evening Shift Hours: 3:00PM - 11:00PM. Must be able to work every other weekend.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
- Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
- Report and document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.
- Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered.
- Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed.
- Participates in life enriching activities for our residents.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
- Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete a reference check.
