SUMMARY: The Valet Attendant greets guests at yjr hotel entrance and safely parks their car in an efficient manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet every guest with warm and friendly greeting
- Secure keys in locked podium/key box
- Verifies ownership of vehicles – keys for claim check
- Be able to perform and stay organized under stress
- Maintain a high level of integrity in regards to guest’s vehicles and personal possessions
- Reports all incidents immediately to supervisor or manager
- Be able to anticipate guests needs
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Bilingual skills a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Previous customer service experience preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Continually required to stand and walk
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and use a keyboard
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. if assisting the bell or front desk staff with guest luggage
- Continual exposure to outside weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver’s license if required to operate a company vehicle or guest vehicles
SALARY: $16.90 per hour
HOURS: Overnight
