Providence Care is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our hospice team on a PRN (as needed) basis in Greenville, South Carolina.

As a Hospice CNA, you'll provide hands-on personal care and emotional support to patients wherever they call home—including private residences, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities—helping them experience comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

What You'll Do
As a valued member of our interdisciplinary hospice team, you will:
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Assist patients with positioning, transfers, ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, and activities of daily living.
- Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
- Support patients and families with compassionate, respectful care throughout the hospice journey.
- Assist with skin care, comfort measures, and other delegated nursing tasks.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for each patient.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, families, and facility staff.
- Accurately document care provided according to hospice policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in hospice training, staff meetings, and continuing education opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Current South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel throughout the Greenville service area.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of CNA experience.
- CNA certified in South Carolina
- Hospice, home health, long-term care, or geriatric care experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, transferring patients, and travel throughout the community. Candidates must be able to safely assist patients with mobility and personal care while following all infection control and safety guidelines.
