Providence Hall is a K-12 charter school located in Herriman UT. Central to the school's mission is teaching students to think critically, communicate effectively, and act responsibly.
General Purpose
This position supports the Human Resources Director with daily personnel processes, employee records, and HR systems. This role is responsible for coordinating the recruiting, onboarding, and off-boarding processes, as well as maintaining compliance with policies and employment laws. The HR Generalist also assists with benefits administration, routine HR tasks, and may be tasked with other support roles for the LEA and Business Office as needed.

Essential Functions
- HRIS Management: Oversee employee data in BambooHR, including job postings, hiring support, onboarding/off-boarding, and maintaining accurate employment records.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist the HR Director with recruitment, career fairs, job postings, candidate screening, approvals to hire, and the preparation of offer letters. Track and manage employee onboarding and offboarding in HRIS.
- Fingerprinting and Background Checks: Collect fingerprints and review background checks for potential employees and volunteers, ensuring compliance with safety and hiring standards. Utilizes and manages the BCI web-based system.
- Volunteer Program Coordination: Oversee the volunteer program, ensuring that volunteers comply with LEA policies and procedures and contribute effectively to school operations.
- Employee Longevity and Records Management: Assists in intent to return and renewal letters. Track employee longevity, update personnel records, and ensure data accuracy across all HR systems.
- Policy and Procedure Support: Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, and processes to support organizational goals.
- Additional HR Support: Assist with other Human Resources duties and projects as assigned, supporting the departments goals and operational needs.
- Executive Director Support: Assist with other tasks as needed under the direction of the Executive Director.
- Board & Policy Support: Help prepare reports and materials for Board of Trustee meetings. Organize and post required meeting documents. Assist the Executive Director in keeping policies current and accessible.
- Data Collection and Reporting:Collect, analyze, and report data to inform decision-making and support organizational improvements.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other tools for data management and reporting. Adapt quickly to new technology to enhance workflow.
- Budget and Financial Tracking: Support the Business Manager and Executive Director with budget tracking, expense monitoring, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of directly relevant HR, administrative, or HRIS experience required. Education-related or nonprofit experience is a plus.
Technical & Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (BambooHR strongly preferred).
- Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology quickly.
- Demonstrated skill in creating reports, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems.

Work Environment
Primarily office-based, with occasional travel to campus sites, board meetings, and community events.
This position is required on-site Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
Physical Demands
The role may require sitting for extended periods, occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds, and participation in offsite meetings and events.
