Summary
As a Head Coach at Providence Cristo Rey High School, you will play a vital role in supporting our athletic programs and mentoring student-athletes. This position is essential in helping students develop their skills both on and off the field while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct practices and games.
- Provide guidance and support to student-athletes in skill development.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages participation and growth.
- Monitor student-athlete academic performance and promote balance between athletics and academics.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty regarding team activities.
- Help organize team events, including competitions and community service opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in sports coaching or related fields is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to educate and mentor young athletes on skills and teamwork.
- Knowledge of various sports is a plus.
