Duties
- Prepare high-quality pizza and related menu items following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, processing payments, and managing sales transactions
- Engage with customers to take orders, upsell menu items, and provide friendly, attentive service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas and dining spaces, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately, and balance registers at shift end
- Operate kitchen equipment safely to prepare ingredients efficiently while ensuring food handling procedures meet safety standards
- Manage food service customer orders promptly to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong background in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and order management
- Demonstrated ability in cash handling, cashiering, and retail sales transactions with accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash reconciliation and order calculations; prior kitchen or café experience is a plus
