What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at PROVIDENCE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?
We are looking for a loving, committed caregiver to work in our infant classroom. The right candidate will be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma. Must have or willing to obtain a CPR certification. We are looking for someone who is willing to care for 4 babies at a time. We offer earned personal paid leave and paid holidays. Two weeks paid vacation the first year of employment. Must be willing to participate in continuing education classes. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing care for infants in a daycare setting.
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for infants to learn and grow.
- Develop age-appropriate activities to promote cognitive and motor skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
- Implement daily routines to ensure consistency and stability for infants including outside/stroller time.
- Utilize knowledge of early childhood education to support developmental milestones.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour
