What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Toddler Teacher position at PROVIDENCE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma
- CPR Certification, current or willing to obtain
We are looking to hire a committed teacher for our toddler classroom. The right candidate will be responsible for the daily care of four to five children and creating fun, age-appropriate activities that reflect the values of Providence Baptist Church and the CDC ministry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Jesus and loving his children. We are looking for someone who is a team player and open to working closely with all of the other teachers and willing to learn and grow with us long term. Being organized and flexible is a must for this position. We are a state licensed facility so the candidate must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and follow ALL DHR guidelines. This includes maintaining a current CPR certification, engage in on-going staff trainings and ability to keep the classroom up to DHR standards.
The hours for the position are 2:00 to 5:30 Monday through Friday EVERYDAY.
Responsibilities:
- Wake children from nap
- Put up cots
- Help children go potty an/or change diapers
- Serve Snack
- Observe and interact with children on the playground
- Clean the room and close it down for the day
