We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential support to elderly clients, assisting with daily living activities while promoting their overall health, safety, and well-being. Your care and commitment will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation while ensuring their safety at all times.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental health to the supervising nurse or family members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and client observations.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and infection-control protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training, certification, or education in home care or caregiving is preferred.
- Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related healthcare field is highly desirable.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
