What You'll Do:
As a Hospice Physician, you will play a vital role in guiding the medical aspect of our Interdisciplinary Team and serving as a supportive liaison between patients' primary physicians, our caregivers, and the medical community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the hospice team to ensure exceptional care plans for patients and families.
- Participating in patient admissions and recertification processes with expertise and empathy.
- Providing medical guidance in all aspects of hospice care, including crisis management and home visits when needed.
- Acting as a trusted resource for physician and community education and fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers and facilities.
- Driving quality improvement initiatives and contributing to agency-wide excellence in service delivery.

What We're Looking For:
- An active and unencumbered Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license within the state of employment.

- Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the needs of hospice care.
