Manufacturing IT Support Technician
Reports to: Manufacturing IT Manager
Location: Strasburg Facility with travel to other locations
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM
Summary
This individual will assist the day-to-day IT operations to provide exceptional service for our manufacturing processes at our ProVia locations. This role will provide onsite support during designated manufacturing hours (6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday-Friday) ensuring timely response to operational technology needs.
Service-oriented mindset, strong troubleshooting skills, effectively communicating solutions in a non-IT/Technical way to end users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Repair, replace computer equipment, phones, printers, barcode scanner, tablets
- Provision and implement HP Thin Clients
- Basic network troubleshooting (wired and wireless)
- Demonstrate low ego needs, high integrity and collaborative work style
- Backup and restore of manufacturing systems
- Preventive maintenance for PC, printers, HMI (Human Machine Interface) devices
- Perform hardware refreshes
Qualifications
This position requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The individual should be confident and demonstrate self and social awareness when learning and working with users who have limited computer skills.
Experience supporting a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Basic Understanding of the Following
- End-User troubleshooting and support
- Computer fundamentals between desktop computers and thin clients
- Mobile Devices (Android and iOS)
- Printers (Xerox & Zebra)
- Barcode scanners (Hardwired and wireless)
- Windows OS
- Provision and configuration of computer equipment
- Willing to learn and develop proficiency with various IT equipment, software, and applications pertaining to the manufacturing processes
- Basic network troubleshooting
- PowerShell scripting
Physical Demands
The individual must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be comfortable working in a production environment, including the possible use of lifting equipm
