Position Summary:
Client is looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Techno-Functional Consultant. This role requires over a decade of experience in PeopleSoft development, with a strong focus on the Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) suite. Candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical financial applications, supporting both project work and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft FSCM modules - Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management.
- Write and optimize PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, SQRs, Component Interfaces, BI Publisher reports, and Integration Broker services
- Work individually on full application development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation
- Partner with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Participate in integration development, interface configuration with external systems along with work related to data movement.
- Assist client business users during validation, UAT test script preparation
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
- Ensure compliance with internal development standards, security policies, and SOX/financial audit requirements
- Create and maintain detailed technical/functional documentation and user training materials
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of PeopleSoft technical development experience
- Expertise in PeopleTools 8.5x , including PeopleCode, App Engine, Component Interface, SQR, and Integration Broker
- Strong understanding of core financial business processes and data structures in modules General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management
- Experience with PeopleSoft technical development for integrating with 3rd party systems
- Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of technical specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Mapping of data between 3rd party and PeopleSoft systems, integrations.
- Experience integrating PeopleSoft with external ERP or financial systems via REST/SOAP APIs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
