OpenText ALM Octane Technical Lead

Introduction

This position involves leading the implementation, administration, integration, and support of the OpenText ALM Octane platform to manage enterprise-wide Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and enable Agile DevOps practices. The Technical Lead will collaborate with QA teams, Development teams, DevOps engineers, Product Owners, and Business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• ALM Octane Administration:
  • Install, configure, and maintain ALM Octane environments
  • Manage users, roles, permissions, and security
  • Configure and manage workspaces, releases, sprints, epics, features, backlogs, test suites & pipelines
  • Monitor platform health and performance
  • Handle upgrades and patching
• Enterprise Test Management:
  • Lead end-to-end testing processes including manual & automated testing, planning & execution test, regression testing, UAT, SIT, and defect lifecycle management
  • Ensure test traceability across requirements
• Integration & Reporting:
  • Integrate ALM Octane with Jira and ServiceNow
  • Build reporting and analytics for test execution status, defect trends, sprint velocity, quality KPIs, and executive dashboards
