What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maitre D position at Provenance?
Provenance is a 23-seat, tasting-menu only restaurant in the Headhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia. We are open Tuesday through Saturday.
We are looking to add a reliable, friendly, and fun Maître d'Hôtel to our team! You will be responsible for administrative tasks prior to service hours, greeting and seating guests, managing coat check, and assistance with getting the team ready for service. The ideal candidate will be available 5 days a week, from around 2:00 pm until end of business - specific schedule details can be discussed during the interview process.
Pay is based on experience. We will close for three weeks out of the year (two weeks in summer and one at the end of the year), during which time salaried employees receive paid time off.
