Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field. Active CPA or EA required.
• 5–8 years of progressive tax experience serving high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Experience reviewing or signing off on tax returns, with accountability for accuracy, compliance, and final approval required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and advisors, while collaborating cross-functionally with managers and executive leadership.
• Proven people-management skills, with a strong track record of developing, mentoring, and training senior and associate level professionals.
  
  
  

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare, review, and sign complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and closely held businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and develop quarterly tax estimates and projections to support proactive planning and informed decision-making.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and well-analyzed responses to tax-related inquiries, estimates, and projections for both tax and wealth management clients.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to support staff within the local office and region, fostering professional development and high-quality client service.
• Collaborate with tax staff to address tax notices, including overseeing responses and drafting initial correspondence with taxing authorities.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $110,000 to $155,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
