Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, and other welding techniques to join metal components accurately according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding procedures to ensure precise fabrication and assembly
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to prepare materials for welding or assembly
- Cut, bend, solder, and assemble pipes or structural elements following ASME codes & standards for pipeline and HVAC systems
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, schematics, and visual checks to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities
- Assist with rigging, tube bending, maintenance tasks, or plumbing as needed for project completion
Experience
- Proven experience in welding within manufacturing or construction environments, with a strong focus on pipe fitting and structural steel fabrication
- Skilled in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and working with various metals
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, mechanical knowledge, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to pipeline welding and HVAC systems
- Experience working on construction sites or in industrial manufacturing settings is highly desirable
- Ability to perform pipe threading, tube bending, rigging, and basic math calculations accurately
- Prior exposure to plumbing systems or fire sprinkler fitting is a plus
