Job Overview:
Here at CleanTeam we are looking for dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as part of our custodial staff. We specialize in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in medical offices and facilities. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and will ensure that our facilities are clean, safe and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant environment for employees and patrons or patients. Previous experience in environmental services, janitorial work or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain the general cleanliness of assigned location.
- Dust all surfaces.
- Mop tile and other flooring.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs.
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to submit a criminal background check.
- Punctual and reliable attendance record.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with others.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 20 lbs
- Stand for up to 5-8 hours.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Drug screen required for some locations.
- Valid drivers license and proof of car insurance for some locations.
Job Type: Part-time
