Job Summary
Tiger Adventure Vehicles has an immediate opening for an entry-level Shop Helper to contribute to our factory operations. In this support role, you will assist with various tasks throughout the facility. Your mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills will help keep the workspace organized, safe, and productive. This position allows the candidate to be exposed to several different trades and departments.
Opportunity for advancement in an individual department will depend on the candidate's skills and eagerness to learn.
Typical Duties
- Daily Cleanup (sweeping, cutting up and disposing of excess scrap metals)
- Monitoring CNC Equipment
- Cutting and prepping materials for different departments
Specific Duties Include (but are not limited to)
- Assisting the metal shop with cutting materials, setting up jigs and fixturing, and basic bending operations
- Assisting the wood shop and interior department prepping and installing wood, cabinetry and interior panels
- Assisting the fiberglass and composites department lifting and holding parts, releasing parts from molds, basic sanding and cleaning, prep work, cutting fiberglass cloth
- Assisting the systems and electrical department with pulling wires, holding and installing bumpers, rough installing plumbing lines
- This position will also be responsible for maintaining an organized workplace, keeping nuts and bolts and inventory parts put away and sorted
Skills
- Mechanical experience
- Very comfortable and capable of operating hand and power tools safely (such as table saws, drills, miter saws etc.)
- Automotive aftermarket experience is a plus
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team setting
- Willingness to learn new skills related to assembly line processes and factory operations

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
