Some responsibilities may include:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while observing patients for any adverse reactions.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the interdisciplinary nursing team.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and comprehensively.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Act as liaison and maintain positive relations with residents and their families and physicians.
- Contributes to/modifies the patient care plan.
- Organizes/prioritizes routine and non-routine nursing care activities.
- Adheres to standards of practice and safe technique in preparation and administration of medications.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
