Some responsibilities may include:
- Properly handles and protects confidential, sensitive, and personally identifiable information.
- Handling and serving residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort.
- Helping residents perform activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and vitals.
- Exchanging information necessary for quality patient/resident care.
- Prioritizing patient/resident activities based on current care needs.
- CNAs provide routine daily care to assigned patients in accordance with their clinical care plans.
- Document care plans and updates in the resident’s medical record.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care and support.
