Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the LTL strategy for ProTrans
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and securing capacity
- Negotiate competitive rates for the LTL network
- Ensure timely and accurate communication between carriers and internal teams
- Proactively resolve service issues
- Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to analyze freight trends and carrier performance
- Stay current on market trends and regulatory changes
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience with an LTL carrier or 3PL, with a focus on LTL
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
