Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pharmacist to join a community retail pharmacy specializing in both non-sterile and sterile compounding, as well as enhanced clinical services. Responsibilities include:
Job Type: Part-Time
- Work Setting: Retail community pharmacy, in-person
- Shifts range from 4-8.5 hours/day,
- Monday-Friday, with no on-call or weekend requirements.
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pharmacist to join a community retail pharmacy specializing in both non-sterile and sterile compounding, as well as enhanced clinical services. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and verifying non-sterile and sterile compounded medications
- Providing immunizations
- Conducting medication synchronization and compliance packaging
- Performing comprehensive medication reviews
- Conducting point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, COVID, A1c)
- Supporting hormone saliva & blood spot testing services
- Delivering excellent patient care across all age groups
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Collaborating with support staff to ensure efficient daily workflow
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or RPh (Required)
- Active Texas Pharmacist License (Required)
- Immunization certification (Required)
- Sterile compounding certification (Required)
- Preceptor certification (Preferred)
- Open to new graduates
- 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred but not required
