Sr. Job Captain for Interior Design
- Sr. Job Captain position for Interior Design Production (interior construction documentation in current CAD 2025 and/ Revit 2025 versions. Must be adept in both and have past hospitality interior experience.
- Responsible for the timely scheduling of all production projects.
- Performs routine daily production or drafting work as required to get the projects completed and works with the team to assist in detailing architectural interior millwork items with the FF &E team for hospitality projects.
- Work with the FF&E Designers in order to integrate and coordinate professional Interior design documentation packages that are code compliant, professional interior design construction documentation and graphically easy to read
- If well versed in Revit - a Plus to salary. If Architect - a Plus to salary
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
- Must have ADA current code compliant knowledge base of hotel interiors and general documentation. Knows architectural detailing of interior architectural details, millwork, etc. and how to incorporate into Interior CD set.
- Has the ability to set up a full set of Interior Construction Documentation
- Generates the Library and symbols and keeps the KLA projects in an established format that is professional and accessible to staff.
- Sets and maintains all KLA CAD Standards of professional excellence in all documentation and design drawings format in both CAD and Revit for hospitality interiors. Must have previous experience with hospitality interiors.
- A minimum of 12 years plus drafting and production documentation for interior design projects. .
- Prepares documentation format for approval by Sr. Management Schematic, Design Development and CD Interior Documentation
- Coordinates all finishes on documentation with the Design staff, FF &E Designers as well as key Project Management staff assigned to different teams.
- Mentors Junior Production staff.
- Work with the FF&E Designers in order to integrate and coordinate professional CAD documentation packages that are code compliant, professional interior design construction documentation and also graphically easy to read.
- Participates and provides input as part of the design process to the Design Director and Project Managers.
- Important to be a self-starter,
- Reports to Senior Staff and Management on a weekly basis for all job status.
- Makes decisions on graphic format and scale and proportion
