Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive project cost estimates
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create supporting documentation
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets
- Analyze cost trends and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to collect and clarify project information
- Present estimates and project details clearly and professionally
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience specifically within the Hawaii market
- Current resident of Hawaii (required per client specifications)
- Proven expertise in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs
- Strong skills in Cost Management and Budgeting
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate estimates
- Proficiency with construction estimating software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Valid Hawaii Contractor's License
- Experience with Autodesk, SAGE, RSMeans, and BuildingConnected is a plus
